Musical Interlude: I was recently introduced to the work of Czech composer Bohuslav Martinů; I love this piece because it could almost be the theme to a 50s swashbuckler film. And I love my swashbuckers.

One of the things that recurs throughout my WIP are "cečka" toys, these little things you linked together and collected. Loom bands of the 80s. And I am so glad I chose that as the thing that crops up all the time because it allows me to also keep mentioning the fact that Michal David (the keytar guy) actually did a whole song about them.
