Vandaag vrij dus #wandelen. Met 13 km een korte maar prachtige #TrageTocht door #DrentscheAa vanaf #Gasteren. Waar de Schotse hooglanders in de Gasterse Duinen wel erg dichtbij lagen, en er natuurlijk ook een hunebed te bewonderen was. #D10 dit keer. Ik ga zeker nog eens terug als de heide bloeit!

I made myself this little present almost a year ago. I found time to fire it up only today. What a trip to memory lane - Atari XL that is. Because I didn’t own Atari ST, Amiga, Spectrum ZX 48 or Commodore 64. And I was able to run through them in a matter of minutes by loading different cores (and hey, my basic goto loop skills still work! ;) ). Unbelievable work done by MiSTer FPGA team that just underlines wonderful things we can pull from FPGA. Also… I was able to run my first computer - ZX81 and customize it down to the version I had - with 1kB of memory (by default it boots with 16kB… who would want to have so much memory?).

By the way, do you know that Cisco Firepower 3100 runs some feature acceleration via FPGA as well? And we’re working on so much more…
