This is a news story which didn't get much traction in the #MainstreamMedia, but it really struck me as important to understanding the situation in #Afghanistan.

In August 2021, when US and #Taliban soldiers ran a joint effort to evacuate personnel involved in the invasion, a #Terrorism group, #ISIS / #ISIL / #Daesh, bombed the airport, murdering over a hundred people. The Taliban had wanted a peaceful withdrawal, but Daesh wanted mayhem.
