Dear diary,

Planted daffs and alliums today.
Three patches daffs, two in grass and one in (2 years rotted) woodchip.

The alliums were two patches, one a mix of shades in grass, the other all purple sensation into shaded leafy soil.

Yet to plant 80 each of muscari and fritillaries ... not sure where yet but likely two drifts. The fritillaries will be temperamental. 1 in 10 of last autumn's appeared whereas the alliums were superb!
