Daikon radish pods.
We stir fry/cook with them. I pickle some of them too. I let several pods go to seed & then tap them for sowing/sharing/saving.

Don't really follow a recipe anymore for this near-staple, mostly equal salt+sugar to massage first then pickling liquid of ½ cup each vinegar & water + ¼cup sugar (+ splash of pinakurat spiced coconut vinegar)

I went to Bar Brine in the Marigny in #NOLA tonight and ordered this, the most #emo #food I've ever eaten. And it was delicious! Hand pulled #SquidInk #noodles with #daikon, #shrimp, #crab, chili, and a touch of cream at Bar Brine on Burgundy. Very moody; very #delicious. #dinner
