@bborn @chanele @emilyk @sheepchase @imstilljeremy @hauntedhideaway @baruch I imagine an @ group isn't too difficult to set up, but these things don't need to be mutually exclusive. I think the generic #Torah might be better than #DailyTorah since it is more self-evident and I don't think the hashtag is already in such heavy use. But again, there's no problem using both hashtags.
#DailyTorah
In Devarim 1:9 begins Moshe Rabbeinu begins heeding Yitro's advice and assigning judges, because he cannot carry us by himself (c.f. Shmos 18:18). Yesterday we learn in Avos 1:18. that the world cannot stand without justice. Moshe Rabbeinu distributes labor, essentially distributing the responsibility for maintaining the world to each of us as individuals.
#DailyTorah
It is written that the inadvertent killer can cause the land to become tamei. (במדבר לה:לד)
In the Gemara (Makkos 11b), Abaye cites that, if the killer dies before reaching the city of refuge, his bones must be taken there to be buried. Since one can not atone in death, but one can be purified, would this make the city, itself, a mikvah?

I was recently thinking that we should set up a hashtag like #DailyTorah so we can regularly post interesting insights in our studies. The daily parasha of course, a fun shiur, anything from Shas, Misnah Berurah, etc.
You are all just who came to mind right now but feel free to boost so we can get many involved. Maybe this isn’t a good idea. I just use the internet for cute animals and bad music anyway, so I have no clue😺.
