Veal comes from the male offspring of dairy cows. Dairy sells them off because they cannot produce #milk. They are then confind to very little space and killed between 18 to 20 weeks old.

In summary:
If you are a #vegetarian and you pay for dairy, you are paying for baby cows to be killed for veal.
