For a long time, I didn't use the local libraries because, well, the staff were crabby. My wife let me know that the ornery ones have retired. Plus she said I can reserve books online and pick them up without interacting with the staff.

It's been awesome! I reserve a book online and, at some indeterminate date, the book is available for pickup. I just need to scan my library card and books and I am set to go.

Strange. Two days ago I posted using #DakotaCounty hash tag but when I search for that hash tag, I cannot find any posts.

If I search for another hashtag (#Ojibwe) I used in my post, I can find it.

This is only happening from my @social.coop account. When I search for #DakotaCounty from another account, I find my post.

Does anyone in the Twin Cities east metro area of Minnesota have a copy of "Everything you wanted to know about indians but were afraid to ask" by Anton Treuer that they could lend to me? Dakota County library seemingly doesn't know where their copies are.
