A lot of popular Indian #StandupComedy is mediocre, and represents a very niche Indian experience with a terrible record on diversity (thus making it stagnant and predictable). Thankfully comics like Manaal Patil, and Manjeet Sarkar, are breaking through this monopoly of privileged mediocrity.
