Thinking of Béla Tarr's "Damnation" (1986) today. Not sure why. I've had clear memories of the film since I got up. The sound of the coal buckets in the background is haunting and hypnotising. It's Tarr's first film in which he seeks a new style after his social-realist trilogy. "Damnation" is impressive and all of Tarr's later films would confirm him as what he is today: the greatest slow film director alive.

Irgendwer bei 9gag hatte das Video zu #Lotus von #Soen gepostet, irgendwer anders hatte es dann in den Kommentaren als Mischung aus #PinkFloyd und #Opeth bezeichnet.

Ich bin zwar nicht zu 100% d'accord mit diesem Vergleich, kann ihn aber nachvollziehen. Ich hab jetzt ein paar mal das Album (das ebenfalls Lotus heißt) durch, und das kann man echt gut hören. Den Opeth-Vergleich würde am ehesten zu #Damnation ziehen.
