Destroyer - Poison Season

This album seems to be mostly about New York - and it almost sounds like the soundtrack to a musical that was never performed in a theater. Very interesting arrangements, veering into different styles, from orchestral to folk to jazz to rock to chamber pop.

Those New Pornographer folks (ex, now, I think, at least for Bejar) are all awfully good at what they do...
