I switched gears for much of the day today, from #maker to #DanceMom. Both my daughters will be dancing #bharatanatyam in their school talent show Friday and they’ve both grown and needed to trade in costumes from the school collection. I took the opportunity to work on a set of matching black and red #costume that were all higgledy-piggledy. I spent the afternoon reuniting mismatched parts and refurbishing pieces. All organized now!

Now I am remembering why I was intrigued by Irene Cara and her songs.
I ended up not pursuing a performing arts career, but she was embodying the teenage angst and yearning for that hard and narrow career.
I am reliving that in a way through my kids now...

My daughter has been dancing at the Stanford Shopping Mall this weekend to do a little preview of the Nutcracker.
Girls want to end the event with some Boba tea or frozen yogurt, so what was supposed to be an hour event tends to become a bit longer...
