#rpgaday2023 liebstes #pnp. #dsa, nicht wegen der seit Jahrzehnten langweiligen Regeln, sondern wegen der liebenswerten Krautundrübenwelt #Aventurien. #UnknownArmies , my kind of horror und meine ersten Veröffentlichungsschritte.

#primetimeadventures als DAS "story now"-game.

Waves of electricity coursing through a scientists fingertips, he wields this power with ineffable callousness.

New Roll for Topic! Our guest, James Pozenel, came on to talk about running hacking scenes. He just so happens to have some opinions on this because he's currently working on Netcrawl, a #TTRPG about adventuring inside a computer system:

Everyone here is sassy today. The Teen was commenting on how I got my sass from Vegan Lawyer GF (she is quite sassy) and I said my sass is more mature, more refined sass. He missheard and asked "mortified sass? whats that? Is that like when a Bard rolls a nat. 20 and sarcasms them to death? "
No, its more like when you point to the Ogre's terrible feet and go WHAT ARE THOOOOOOOOSE? And he runs away embarrassed.
Mortified Sass would be a great band name.

This week in D&D we:
- nearly got eaten by a mimic
- killed it just in time
- were rewarded with magic items (some suspiciously similar to the ones from the 80s cartoon)
- FINALLY got some sandwiches
- fought rats in a windmill
- saw a shadowy figure
- snuck up a hill
- talked to some orcs
- began the arduous process of planning how to get a in a fight with said orcs (TBC)
This week in D&D we:
- had sinusitis *
- irritated our way past the guards
- stabbed a rug up real good
- rescued a gnome
- investigated the same gnome’s brutal murder
- held a thing
- brainstormed a ‘sanity gun’
- received a royal commission
- fired arrows at random objects
- found a mimic (see above)
* not all of us

This week in D&D we:
- joined the discord from a bus *
- had a big refreshing sleep
- checked in on a windmill
- ordered cheese(?) sandwiches(?) in broken gnomish
- did a flip and potentially a wall run
- robot-crab whispered
- Hid behind an employee
* not all of us

This is my first time playing a rogue and hitting level 2 is both great (cunning action opens up a lot of options and is potentially very powerful) and also extremely boring (basically just 'you don't die in one hit now, here's cunning action').
Level 3 however...

This week in D&D we:
- found out what we had thrown rocks at
- negotiated a mulligan for our first ever 'killed outright' character (a wizard / old lady whose first instinct was to go melee)
- tore through all our healing potions
- eventually killed 2 to 3 slimes
- discovered there were no cheese sandwiches left
- gave the stink-eye to some orcs
- reached the heady heights of... level 2!

- Wounded a creature! *
- Liberated a midwife!
- Talked through a door!
- Found cheese sandwiches! **
- Threw rocks at several things!
* a bad nature roll last week meant we weren't sure what the creature actually was
** still no scotch eggs
