I can't find the tooted link, but I opened up this article yesterday to read today (as a post blood test reward) and it's beautifully written and heart-breaking. But also shows the power of D&D and TTRPGs to allow people to better understand themselves and offer the chance to grow and learn. It also demonstrates how inhuman prison systems are. What a waste.

There is a valid argument that using TTRPG elements / mechanics to make a 'rigid' storytelling videogame RPG, makes for frustrating play - because different mediums do different things well / badly.
One comment: "Baulders Gate is a magnificent Theme Park built on sand."
D&D is cludgy, crufty and bloated - of course it is, its evolved over almost *50 years* and multiple revisions !
