#SantaBarbara 014 (1984) - 9/10

✅ #DaneWitherspoon is very much the leading man here, and Joe is in pretty much every scene. We get to see him meeting Cruz, Toni, and Minx for the first time (in the show). They all like him, and trust him, it should be noted. He also spends a lot of time with Augusta. As we know, she definitely likes him!😆

#SantaBarbara 007 (1984) - 9/10
Two characters (and their storylines) largely drive the action here: Joe, and Santana.

1️⃣ #DaneWitherspoon and #AvaLazar were featured heavily in the early promos, and the show is certainly delivering on the (implied) promise to keep them front and center.

#SantaBarbara 006 (1984) - 9/10
Best episode, so far.

1️⃣ The first meeting between Joe and Kelly justifies the 5 episodes of build-up. #RobinWright and #DaneWitherspoon are excellent together. Great chemistry. More then enough to justify them being the core couple of the show, at this stage.

2️⃣ Same goes for #JulieRonnie and #ToddMcKee. They are great/cute together. Even if nothing much happens/changes in their storyline.

#SantaBarbara 004 (1984) - 8/10
❝Do you like aggressive women?❞

1️⃣ Highlight: the first meeting between Augusta (#LouiseSorel) and Joe (#DaneWitherspoon). Sorel is so much fun to watch. And there is real story potential from pairing these two characters, who each have their own reasons for working against #CCCapwell.

2️⃣ Joe and Kelly still haven’t had a scene together, but the show is doing a terrific job of building up the relationship and making us believe in the love story.
