Last night's #Criterion movie was the #Dardenne brothers' 2014 film "Two Days, One Night" about a woman on sick leave trying to convince her co-workers to vote to allow her to return to her job.
The management of the company have given the workers a stark choice--a €1000 bonus -or- allowing the woman to return to work.
An indictment of #neoliberalism and modern capitalism while also an affirmation of the strength of solidarity and the human spirit.
Highly recommended.
