This is my favorite #shmup of all time. Darius Gaiden. I bought this for my Sega Saturn back in 1996. I remember being floored by the graphics. They're nothing fancy by any means, but on a home console in 1996, they were jaw dropping. I especially loved watching this boss plow though those trees. Thanks to the detail in the artwork and excessive use of sprites, it was the best looking 3D I had seen up to that point. 😁
