Twitter #darkUI pattern: I dont follow anyone on birdsite. But nevertheless, it says I have 100+ inbound tweets. Clicking on the text just makes it go away, and then return later with a slightly higher number.

I'm used to seeing fake timers to pressure customers into snapping up fake deals in consumer goods, concert tickets.
Very surprised to see the same fake 15min timer in the link I was sent to choose a delivery date from Costco. Refresh page resets the timer. #costco #darkui
