#FiveVideoGames that defined me huh? Let’s see…

1.) #ManiacMansion First NES game I asked for myself, inspired by a Nintendo Power feature. This game may have warped my young mind.
2.) #SamandMax Hit the Road. When my family first got a PC the rule was educational games only. I convinced them it was by the image of Mount Rushmore on the cover. Glad they didn’t look too close…
3.) #VtM Redemption. First time I got into a modding scene. We ran #TTRPG campaigns in multiplayer using WODMOD.
4.) #DarkAgesNexon First truly memorable MMO experience. I’m still friends with people I met here. Also had my identity stolen in the most bizarre way (long story, tell you later).
5.) #ChronoTrigger Before BlockBuster, I re-rented the local mom & pop shop’s sole rental copy so much they let me keep it, given I’d basically paid for it. Also first game I wrote fanfic for, though it was just very tame Frog backstory stuff hosted on a pre ff.net archive (no lemons allowed). If you understand that, your back must also hurt.
