What an amazing film! It's a bit crackers, but has some great concepts brought to life and you can see how strongly it has influenced the various #Punchdrunk shows I've been too.

Gerade gestern den #ScienceFiction #Film #Darkcity mehr oder weniger zufällig gesehen, schon bringt Golem einen Artikel dazu. Kannte ich bisher noch nicht, ist aber wirklich sehenswert, vor allem wegen seiner düsteren Atmosphäre.

Having re-watched Dark City, I'm always impressed with the atmosphere that this film provides. I can't imagine a more Neo Noir / Shadowrun theme then waking up in a bathtub, in a strange hotel, with amnesia, piecing together random clues about your identity that's been left behind.
For everyone who hasn't seen it, I'd strongly recommend watching the Director's Cut. The opening monologue is omitted, and key plot points aren't spoiled.
