Did you know there were sharks in space? 🦈

This is the Dark Shark Nebula, LDN 1235 from Lynds Dark Nebula catalogue, in the constellation of Cepheus. It is a large cloud of interstellar dust that reflects the light of surrounding stars.

I captured this image Tuesday night from La Mauricie National Park (QC, 🇨🇦) where the low light pollution (Bortle 3) allows capturing this very dim object in a reasonable amount of time.

A few days later and I finished my outline for the 6th and FINAL book in the series. I ended up with everyone coming back together to help close this series out. It's going to be epic!

Anyhow, following my usual outlining mode, this outline came in at 8,864 words. For some authors, that's a novella. If my estimates for the book are on track, I have it coming in at 145k. Not my longest, but we'll see.

I’ve been working on my outline for book 6 (Nursery) of my series. I’m hoping to start writing it next week. It’s set to release in August of next year. In my other spare time, I’m finishing up converting book 1 (Isolation) into Google AI narration. I’ll have it up on the play store in the new year for free.

Well I did it. I finished book 2 in my new as yet to be released series yesterday. 3k yesterday, 21k in the past 5 days, and 105k in the book. I’m super excited where I left it off. I strayed from my plotting self and pantsed the last half of the book, destroying my neatly crafted outline. But I went where the characters wanted me to. Book 3 is gonna be fun, but I’ve got book 6 in to write first.

@VickyPaintsSpace I’m a sucker for the Horse Head Nebula or Dark Nebulas like the Barnard 150 (Seahorse) are awesome. It was nebulas like that which inspired my first series. I mean, what are they hiding in those dark nebulas anyhow?
