They pressed on, long past the point of no return. Lights flickered; batteries dying. Their leader’s white robes stained orange from the antediluvian stone walls.

“There it is,” they cried pointing to a gate of writhing faces, silently screaming. The gates of hell

“Fear not,” their leader cried. I am the 2nd coming, & we shall set them free

I wrote this one the other day. It's too long to fit in the post, hence a picture. Poetry is such a good vehicle for expressing my thoughts, that I find it much better than a journal. I can lay out my thoughts in this semi-impersonal manner, rather than being forced to face my thoughts directly.

This one is about a person trying to be hopeful about the future, despite the overbearing darkness. It's about that spark that lights a dreamers fire, hence Dreamer.
