My #DASKeyboard did not have a comfortable typing angle (too flat, even with the magnetic ruler underneath), so I used an old, unused Apple Trackpad to raise it up. It’s perfectly adjustable and won’t slip. Money saved and my wrists are happy. #reuse #recycle

One little joy that comes from annual leave is having a bit more time to work at my Mac Mini. A fair amount of that is the #DasKeyboard attached to it, I think.

I used an early gen #DasKeyboard years ago and definitely was impressed. Unfortunately at this point I’ll never spend anywhere near $100 or more if it’s not a hot swap board. I can’t ignore the value add of hot swap switch sockets. My #Womier was around $70 and it’s a hot swap board, with RGB, that came with keycaps and switches.

The weight is amazing - you could murder someone with a #daskeyboard pro. I do like the single cord, and the USB ports. I love mine unabashedly. Never had a problem on any distro with it and my distro usage is definitely fueled by my #adhd.

I use #DasKeyboard for more than 14 years already :)

The reason for my question is that I found the amazing #MacTigr keyboard and I would really love to use it, but it’s only available as ANSI with the English layout. #daskeyboard

I got into public transit today for the first time in two months to go into the office to reclaim my monitor so I could properly set up at home. I also reclaimed my #ClackyKeyboard (an old unlabelled black #DasKeyboard).

I am now happily clacking to my heart's content at home, where nobody can be bothered by my clacking. God, it's been so long, these keys feel soooooo good under my fingertips.

Reflashed the #daskeyboard with new firmware this weekend and so far it has been working great (no more randomly repeating keys). Way better than returning it for a fix.

Well this sucks!

Das Keyboard is now BANNING users from their forum (5Q) if you mention Linux alternatives to their Spydows only software.

"One user asked if there was anything that was supported on Mac or Linux. I pasted a link to the open source project and was immediately banned."

On to the blacklist they go.
