Not 6 mins walks from my Mom's home in #Kolkata is #BijoygarhBajaar (Bijoygarh is the adjacent neighborhood and bajaar is market, Bengali for bazaar). Besides the stores, sweet shops, medicine shops (pharmacies) and market stalls, there are street vendors for vegetables, produce and all kinds of supplies and sundries. I love going there in the mornings or mid afternoons - when it's somewhere between busy and setting up or shutting down.

Waking up to a dark dreary rainy morning in Pittsburgh and can't believe 2 Sundays ago in #Kolkata got my sister and headed out by dawn and grabbed some nihari for breakfast before they ran out by 6:30 am. All her life in Kolkata and she'd never been there.

Not exactly #StreetFood but no place to sit down so it was take out, and a chance for some #StreetPhotography
