ITRE just approved the trilogue result of #DataAct with majority of 62-7-2🥳
With Data Act we will empowers consumers and SMEs to have access to the data they produce. Data sharing will be easier, creating a European data economy, innovations and services.

The #DataAct deal was just endorsed by @EP_Industry now. One plenary vote left until it becomes law. As shadow rapporteur, I'm happy that we managed to make access to data a reality for EU citizens & that we're closer to a data market that will bring billions to the EU economy.
