I think (and talk) about data culture quite a bit, and it's important to remember that data culture is just one specific (and small) aspect of culture in general. I was musing this morning on this and related topics, and discovered this delightful (and insightful) blog post from 2016.

Culture is what you walk past.

It's well worth the few minutes it will take to read. It's also worth a few hours to actually think about what you've read, and how it relates to the cultures you are part of in your day to day life.
