The pattern is depressing. Alpha male “AI Leader” has an “oh shit, maybe we should have been building ethical safeguards in way before now because [insert dystopian hell scape here]” while female researcher says “We fucking told you this years ago and there’s already a tonne of issues we need to deal with that are bad NOW.”
