@wf Music & video collection management (#DataHoarding or "I don't trust youtube, spotify and similar things") and manga & doujin tagged search are the two biggest ones (in terms of just how many entries there are, I have terabytes of music).

I might also screw around with #Hydrus' database when I can actually do so reliably.

These pretty much all imply I'm living in #Emacs and that's mostly right.

Seems the #brother FTP server is dead... which took a LOT of old manuals with it. Not sure HOW long it's been gone, but it's certainly not on archive.org...

So if you have links to items that should be archived, I'm very much interested, they could be added to the Archive and flagged as origin of the war but if telegram doesn't have those links, there is nothing I can do about it.. I noticed a lot of videos are already missing on their side.. Hence the Archive :) #datahoarding

Have spent part of the weekend deduping Media on the NAS from days when I went from Lightroom to On1 and back, along with when I have had to blow away Apple Music/TV Libraries and start over.

Worthwhile exercise, I think I recovered about 1.4TB on a 6TB NAS, so close to a quarter of total space.

@jannuary I have a working directory that contains every file I've used or saved since 1997. It was touch and go for backups for a while there, I had to pull the image directory out of my portable drive at some point due to size as an example. At this point I have movies and tunage on a 25T NAS that backs up to a couple of 14T external drives. The personal files are hovering around 1T and the come with me everywhere and are backed up in at least three locations.

Going through an old backup drive and found a bunch of archived photos, one of which was just a photo of a burger with no context. I’m afraid to delete it because maybe there was something special about it but…it can’t be, right?

8TB Seagate Ironwolf drive is on the way to replace my 2TB backup drive. Nice to know that all the #bluray rips I've done will be backed up.

Since going legit with movie downloads, I've bought quite a few Blu-Rays of movies that I want to have forever, making sure that I have a good quality rip for #plex and #jellyfin. It's always a thrill to get each movie for $1-$5 a piece in great quality! I still have many movies and TV series to buy but it's all about patience.

Also, I'm buying a 8TB drive to back it all up soon. I'd hate to re-rip stuff again...
