It is quite a common activity for calculating someones pay to go from 3h45m -> 3.75 h (mulitplied by $/h)

The wife and I ended up going to the mall as I had mentioned this morning. We did a bit of shopping as there were a few things she wanted and needed.

Spent about 3 hours there and then came home and ate lunch.

It's always good to spend time with the wife and just do whatever it is we want and like to do.

2. Would you sign up on a stranger’s calendly if they offered 1:1 help with problems like that and seemed like they had the expertise?

I’d love to know your initial reaction to the concept and especially hesitations.

I always have trouble generating valid HTML `datetime` attributes! The spec is strict, and I find that my incoming data/final copy rarely matches its requirements.

You'd think there would be a simple way to do this, but I'm yet to find it! 😅 So I figured I'd write myself a note on the best solution I've found *so far*.

(if you know of a better one, please lmk 😉)

Uh. Ok.

I had a hard time writing tests for a Liquid tag in Jekyll that used Ruby's Date object to parse a date string.

In the test, I used 'abc123' as an obvious (to me, at least), invalid date string.

To my surprise, the test did not fail as expected, but instead ended up with the valid date '2023-05-03', which I spent quite a while figuring out where came from. Turns out it came from my own test data.

DYK: GNU units(1) can do simple “human readable relative times”? It can convert total number of seconds like this:
