@elb @eludom Have either of you worked with #CEPH? There's also, with somewhat different semantics, #Syncthing and #DATproject - https://dat.foundation/
It bugs me that I can't install the #DatProject dat cli tool on #Termux, apparently because `python` defaults to #Python 3, and Python 2 is needed to compile the utp-native npm package. It used to work, perhaps when Python 2 was the default. And the error I get is about a print statement, nonetheless!

@maiki@mastodon.sdf.org interesting, also #datproject and #ipfs were added. The two ends of the spectrum 😀 #p2pweb
Bunsen Browser https://github.com/bunsenbrowser/bunsen is a mobile browser for dat:// resources. Currently in alpha state #datproject #p2pweb
Looking into #datproject https://datproject.org/ and https://beakerbrowser.com/ #p2pweb it's quite promising, but difficult to understand how it relates to #ipfs - I also need to understand what apps and tools are available for mobile devices
Hey #scuttlebutt I got a tray application going on providing "sbot" features to #Firefox add-ons and potentially other local apps.
Similar tray apps could provide #ipfs and #datproject features to the local system making them available to browser add-ons.
This should be interesting to those into #Decentralization and wanting to make #Mozilla more suitable for decentralized technologies.
