Way back in the 1980s I bought an old secondhand mobile rust bucket called the Datsun 120Y - and I loved it!
I spent two years trying keep this car roadworthy. I must have visited nearly every scrapyard in Glasgow hunting for parts. Even for an old car, the specs were better than the cars British Leyland were churning out.
Eventually a Ford Transit took a dislike to my wee Datsun one frosty morning and rammed into it, writing it off. 😡
