In 1970 wordt hij gevraagd te komen spelen in de begeleidingsband #TheHype van #DavidBowie, de band veranderd nog in #Ronos, maar worden Bowie's #TheSpidersFromMars.
Hij werkt ook met Bowie samen aan albums van Lou Reed en Mot The Hoople.
Vanaf 1973 brengt hij ook solowerk uit.
En werkt ook met oa #IanHunter en #DavidCassidy en produceert ook veel artiesten.
