It was sung on record by #RogerWaters (with harmonies by #DavidGilmour), who would continue to sing it on his solo tours. Gilmour sang the lead vocal when Pink Floyd performed it live on their 1994 tour (as can be heard on #Pulse). The band originally called this track "Lunatic" during live performances and recording sessions.

No ha sido muy prolífica la carrera solista de #DavidGilmour, la misma, se iniciaría el 25 de mayo de 1978 con el álbum que lleva su nombre. Para sentirse más cómodo apeló a sus compañeros de Jokers Wild, la banda de la que formó parte en Cambridge antes de sumarse a Pink Floyd en la década de los 60´. Este primer recorrido personal quizás buscaba hacer algo relajante por fuera de las agotadoras y exigentes sesiones dirigidas por Roger Waters.

Today’s listening is ‘David Gilmour’, the 1978 album by, well, David Gilmour.
For me this first solo album by Mr G is a far better album than any of those that Pink Floyd would later put out after Roger Waters left!
Interestingly, several of the guitar solos and ‘motifs’ on this album sound suspiciously similar to parts of ‘Animals’ by Pink Floyd, released the year before.
In particular listen to the guitar solo on ‘Raise My Rent’-sound familiar?!
