Today's #WashingUpMusic is #Folklore by #BigBigTrain. This was their 9th album but the 4th with the more "revered" line up that included the late David Longdon. Each #BBT album is a majestical journey and Folklore has many live staples (they rarely played live, anyway!), including The Transit Of Venus Across The Sun, Winkle (a true story, that one), Folklore and Wassail. #RIPDavidLongdon who tragically left us a year ago today. David was such a beautiful vocalist, an amazing musician and songwriter. Today will be a tough day for his partner, Sarah, and his children, family and friends, as is every day without him. But he did leave us a wonderful sonic legacy, especially with #BigBigTrain.
