My Great-Grandfather Pleasant Luther Duke Berryhill.

He was born in 1852, in the Creek Nation, Indian Territory before it became the state of Oklahoma & part of the US.

He was sent to Indian schools in the Creek Nation, then was sent to a school in Missouri.

He was Captain of the Creek Lighthorse tribal police & known as a sharpshooter.

He was Dawes Roll #117. He passed in 1929.
