I love Wire so much, especially this song which is as anthemic as they ever allowed themselves to get on those early albums. Few bands from that era sound as out-of-time as they do. Extra points for being about maps cause I’m a map dork through-and-through. Chorus!

It’s a bit before my time and I’d grown up thinking Rod Stewart only did boring stuff like Sailing and Do Ya Think I’m Sexy. Imagine my surprise when I learned he used to make proper tunes. This one is an absolute belter.

#Day13 of my #100DaysOfDevelopment is cheating day: other than checking for my TestFlight approval for external Testing, that I had set up yesterday, I didn’t do anything programming related. But: had some quality time with family and friends and took a tour on my road bike. Will compensate for that tomorrow though I guess 😀

I have Confidant simle, not hesistant or resistant to start works. I am able to code, giving seminar or sining on stage, i am into more physical activity, helping others while in need, i will not repeat myself while speaking, i have good memory power, i am not procastinating, i plan to do problem solving step by step.

After a couple of days, more than 1k lines added and more than 50 files modified I finally finished the read list reading feature 🍾

It was harder than I thought but the problem was the details bottom sheet and after realizing that it was just a mini version of the details screen and didn't added any new I refactor it to work as a option menu for the books. I killed two birds with one stone doing this

So it's #Day13, the final day of #COP15 - and of our #historicalecology series here. To return to the original Guardian article all this was in response to (adding here again for reference): this (monster rather than mini) thread has tried to put together evidence that the history of our relationship to nature has not been one of unilinear destruction; and that destruction is not "human nature".

Days 13 and 14 are down. I needed a little help with 13, but 14 was all me.

When I first ran my pt2 solution, I let it run like 15 min and it still wasn't done. Did about 20 min worth of optimization and it still took over a minute, but still way better. I'd have to start over if I was going to optimize it correctly, but it'll do.

This is looking like it'll be the first year I actually finish. Not bad for starting off a few days late.
