I didn't like this song at first but now I do.
This one is dedicated to my brother who forced me to listen to System of
a Down. The song title is a play on “Self-right-Chop Suey-cide,” that
has a further sort of humor in that they mixed up a controversial word
into a nonsensical word to create a more ‘radio-friendly’ title.

The first time I saw the great and magnificent Pylon, at the Piedmont Arts Festival in Atlanta in 1981, I thought they were awful. It took seeing them a couple more times and listening to them more deeply to realize that they were actually one of the greatest things ever.
