Liesel: Is it normal to be attracted to a hair color? The grocer’s son has thick curly red hair. Or maybe it’s that he wants to leave this miserable place and explore the world. The other kids in town make fun of him because he walks with a cane, but you don’t hear them talking about getting in a ship and sailing until there’s nowhere left to sail.

I bet he does it, too. Everyone just wakes up one day and wonders where he went, and he’s gone, halfway to some other world. In my dreams I go with him.

Neurodivergent folks, is your relationship with your childhood a little bit… rocky? A lot of neurodivergent people have childhood trauma from struggling to understand social rules and from not being accomodated to before diagnosis, whilst infantilising is also a very common form of ableism.
