Today is #dayofthehomeschooledchild. It's perfectly legal to educationally neglect your children or worse in the US because #homeschooling parents are exempt from meaningfully meeting state education requirements in most states. That's really fucked up. I graduated highschool at 15 without learning algebra because my parents decided having a uterus meant I didn't need to learn math. #homeschool kids deserve better. #childrenhaverights #parentshaveresponsibilities
