I’ve had a #Midori Traveler’s Notebook for a while and never really used it so this week I’ve dusted it off and fixed it up a bit. It’s such a beautiful diary/planner - not sure why I’ve never put it to use but I’m glad I have it now. I even got some cute washi tape to snazz it up a bit.

Monday #dayplanner:
- coffee, cat, bird-watching
- some gentle upper body exercise / shoulder rehab
- finish indexing the new 5th anniversary Spire printing
- a couple of hours of email processing
- walk by the river, maybe pick up some bits for tea or do an hour’s weeding on the allotment
- empty a load of boxes to try to find our US point of sale system
- scone

I am thinking (poor choice I know) about going from my analog(paper and pencil) week at a glance #dayplanner to a digital option. What I #wish for is a standalone #kindle type device that would “talk” to my computer somehow. I am trying out #GoogleCalendar because I have an iPhone and (gestures vaguely) you know. However I grow old the eyes are not what they used to be. #suggestions? Either a different ap or a better way altogether. (All: A better way!)

@tombradleyjr I also cannot work with #moodboard. They do nothing for me. I don't #journal and I could never use a #dayplanner . I am always flying by the seat of my pants. Even when I was a teacher. I wrote my #dayplan on the morning of. (I can hear some administrators screaming now, but it's true.) And I was a damn fine #teacher who had kids inventing things in science class and #writing fabulous #stories in class or at home.

Doing my Sunday night thing where I have my self-meeting and plan my week with the Emergent Task Planner (https://davidseah.com/node/the-emergent-task-planner/).
I color-code my tasks by category for six categories:
Teaching - Red
Podcasting/Livestreaming - Blue
Freelance - Green
Personal Art - Purple
Volunteer:Advocacy - Dark Blue
Personal - Pink
It’s a little fussy, but this way I can do a squint test to see how my day is going and where I’m spending my time.
