This daytime soap opera had, by this point, stopped being quite so damn prissy about showing physical affection between Noah (Jake Silbermann) and Luke (Van Hansis), aka "Nuke." The characters were a couple on the show from 2007 until the series' cancellation in 2010.

Here, Luke and Noah seem to finally be freed from the main problems in their relationship: 1) having to sneak and hide because of Noah's green-card marriage to a woman (so she could stay in the U.S.), and 2) threats and violence from Noah's homophobic father (who by this time was in prison).

I have a few favorite ⁠s on my old and each one emphasizes a different level of .

“Mondaine” is precise to the second — perfect for public transport running on time.

“PolarDot” displays the minutes as arc ―  good for timing a busy schedule.

“SunFlower” shows 12 hours, divided into 4×3 5-minute blocks — great to keep an overview of the whole day.

Gay teacher Michael Delaney (Chris Bruno) comes out to his students during a lesson about the Holocaust, touching off a months-long story arc about whether he should be allowed to keep his job and a parallel plot about a gay male student at the same high school.

Michael's coming out was based on a real-life controversy over Rodney Wilson, a Missouri teacher who had also come out to his students during a Holocaust lesson. The 1995-96 ALL MY CHILDREN story took a dramatic turn months later when a gay student's homophobic brother tried to shoot Michael and ended up killing someone else. youtu.be/81rsfRXpP9o

In 2000 on this daytime soap, teenaged Bianca (Eden Riegel) told mom Erica and bff Leo she was gay and had a girlfriend, Sarah. Bianca's and Sarah's folks broke the couple up, and this launched Bianca's 13-year run as an "out" soap heroine.
