Looks like they employ a bit of #DazzleCamouflage with that white crescent on the head. Similar to certain plovers in the US. 😊

So #DazzleCamouflage was at least planned to come in different colors including the blues and yellows described by the #SeaSerpent eyewitness (the greens I’ve seen look pretty drab and olive-y). They also look WAY more like the illustration than Giraffe coloration! I’m a bit perplexed as to what exactly is going on; I’d say it’s quite relevant the sighting was recorded 50 years after it (allegedly!) occurred.

Did you know there has been an Australian #SeaSerpent sighting with #DazzleCamouflage ? It’s true…………. truly not actually the case, sadly.

The eyewitness from the HMAS Kurumba was *attempting* to draw Giraffe-like coloration and accidentally rendered it as Dazzle Camouflage. Apparently the spots were blue, green and yellow… weird!

Just had an email come in with the subject dazzle for the holidays, and the idea of having black and white hair in the #DazzleCamouflage style just popped into my head.

I think it would have to be a wig though, I don't want to bleach my hair enough to go full on white.

Ug, I don't have spoons to follow up on this, I still need to assemble the eyeballs for my biblical angel Christmas tree, and make the biblical angel earrings I wanted. I need to be able to use my spoons for me. 😭
