I wonder if this can't just be a Phase 2 of the Bloop project. The obvious priorities of the Bloop is to take pressure off the Rosslyn tunnel and to increase Metro connections between the core and near Southeast/PG Co. This addition feels like something that can happen later.

Outside: 465-488
On the train: 554-579, with one spike to 664 at Gallery Place
Underground platform: 498.
CO2 is at best a fuzzy proxy for infectious disease risk, but those are pretty good numbers!

But as a longtime #DCMetro commuter, you do what you have to when you find yourself on the wrong platform.
