(But does it really work in this case? ddev currently supports v14 in latest ddev version as minimum in config.yaml https://ddev.readthedocs.io/en/latest/users/configuration/config/#nodejs_version, but you can switch via ddev nvm to older versions :))

Do you also use the good old Makefile as wrapper in your #ddev web projects?

@simoncox That one was on my list. It seems to work nicely with only a couple hiccups in #ddev.

Will probably need more road-testing.

I had massive problems with #DDEV, #colima and #qemu on a Mac M1 the last few days. The system was super fast, but then out of the blue requests took 1 to 3 minutes and the qemu process went up to 400% CPU workload.

It looks like (and I cross my fingers) the problem was running colima with a docker installation from Docker-Desktop. I uninstalled it and installed Docker with "brew install docker" in lieu of "brew install --cask docker" and everything is working fine again. By now.

I've hit a stumbling block on using an immutable OpenSUSE. I've been using ddev for my web development (and it works great!), but it requires docker and my OS only has podman.

Could I install docker? Yes, but that defeats the spirit of the thing.
