I will probably stop ragging on #ddotdc but damn they suck.

There was a big bus study done some years ago, and they defined ways DC and others could help make them run more quickly and smoothly. DC half assed some bus lanes on a couple routes in NW and then promptly refused to do the enforcement they were given (MPD isn't allowed to do enforcement now by the numpties on the Council) and consequently nothing is better.

The MD drivers who are at the leadership of Muriel's PAC want "their" parking spaces back and the bike people want bike lanes everywhere. Meanwhile this is the "accommodation" on K St NE at 1st St NE. I shouldn't complain, there used to be no space to walk at all, they gave us a whole foot. Next to a completely unblocked bike lane.

DDOTDC is an abysmal agency. They're going to try to shut down streeteries, claiming ADA but the miles of broken, criminally narrow, unmaintaned sidewalks are still going to be there. They're concern trolls. Some sidewalks in my neighborhood are impassable by even one person. People in my neighborhood just walk in the streets, and have for decades.
