En als er meer mensen in de spiegel kijken, dan zorgt het systeem ervoor dat sommige spiegeltjes je in elkaars ogen laat kijken. Goodbye Dutch Design Week 2022. You were not great, but definitely interesting. Covid-19 and accelerating neoliberalism effect this edition: design as neoliberal praxis, back to products and services, future thinking based on the current status quo. The Dutch Design Week is an inspiring annual gathering of international designers with such a diverse offering of projects, products and experiments that it is mind blowing. Anyway. If you're interested in design and have the chance visit the ddw. You will not regret it. I did a one day visit which was far too short but I loved it.

It's hard to give an impression of the Dutch Design Week with a couple of words and a photo but the recycling and using materials from bacteria, funghi and plants is definately an increasing trend this year.

On the photo knits from wood from a concept from the Aalto University in Finland which actually felt and looked very much like cotton.
