Just deactivated all of my bird site accounts. #DeactiDay

Actually, I'm REALLY hoping the whole #deactiday thing is yet ANOTHER 4chan op. It makes the most sense for some reason.

I don't mind the #Deactiday people flooding over to mastodon, it is very good for the fediverse. But I'm still blocking everyone whoho says they are "taking a break". They are self-segregating themselves, let's see how the algos react.

I turned off my IFTTT cross-posting to Twitter this morning in honor of #DeactiDay.

Not that I care about Twitter anymore. The chat on Mastodon was so active and pleasant last night that I almost forgot to practice guitar.

This is rawer than I normally publish, but I'm working out my thoughts on #BlockParty500, #DeactiDay, and Twitter #birdsite.
