Necron Deathmark.
I wanted to represent them stepping through from the hidden dimension.
For the portal I used some clear plastic, cut into a wibbly shape, so that it is visible but not (like a heat haze).
I also painted half of the mini' dark and half "in light", again, to represent stepping from the hidden dimension. The cut-off matches the position of the "portal".

Pros: Beautifully grotesque atmosphere, great cast of characters, perfectly executed jump scares, solid horror that doesn’t get old
Cons: Remembering which direction arrow to press, some obscure puzzles
