Living where we do in the middle of nowhere, we occasionally find local wildlife who have breathed their last.
This morning was a juvenile Crow.
They got buried in a stone cairn under a tree in the garden alongside a sparrow and a bat from earlier in the year.
Just because they are wild does not mean they can't be shown some tenderness and care on their final day.
