#TIL about the meaning behind the lyrics of the #Pixies song "#Debaser," which I'd always been curious about due to what sounds like a reference in the song to "Andalusia." It turns out, Black Francis is saying "un chien Andalusia" which is a reference to an early 20th century film created in part by Salvador #Dali called "Un Chien Andalou," or roughly translated to "The Andalusian Dog." Sometimes I think of a song I've wondered about for years, and then remember search engines are a thing 😆

Dry Cleaning played their first ever Stockholm gig tonight and it was a pleasure and privelege to be there. They’ve released so much great music in the past couple of years that I’d almost forgotten about Viking Hair, which they played and it was magnificent. Just an incredible band.
